The HTC viewer, Vive Cosmos, is expected to be launched in the third quarter of this year 2019. The date, specifications and price have not yet been disclosed by the company.
What we do know about this viewer with absolute inside-out positioning (tracking from the inside out), is that it will be for PC (will be connected by Displayport) and connectable to smartphones.
In principle, the company announced in January that the first kits would be launched for developers and then for end users. We still do not know anything about the developer kits.
HTC unveiled the developer Antony Vitillo, during his visit to its facilities in Taiwan, that the viewer would launch for the third quarter of this year. Also, the device would bring a wireless adapter, in addition to connecting with cable, and will be compatible with VirtualLink.
