Today we will review different games and immersive experiences of Game of Thrones in virtual and mixed reality, with which to feel the series as if we were inside.
Game of Thrones: Beyond the wall
In Viveport we can enjoy a virtual reality experience based on the popular Game of Thrones series: “Beyond the Wall”.
On May 30, HTC Vive announced that HBO partnered with VIVEPORT exclusively for the publication of this experience (Vive blog). In it, we must fight and defend the Wall of the attack of the undead and wights.
The experience is available from May 31 in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, the United Kingdom and Canada, as part of the Viveport Infinity subscription service. And we can enjoy it both with HTC Vive and with Oculus Rift.
Game of Thrones: Ascend the Wall
Framestore worked with Relevent and HBO on a Game of Thrones experience in which real lifts, wind, Oculus Rift viewers, the Unity engine and VFX were used.
In this experience the fans climbed to 700 feet, and were able to walk and observe the views north of the Wall.
Game of Thrones: The Dead Must Die
AT & T offers in its stores in San Francisco, Boston and Chicago, recreations in mixed reality based on the series: King’s Landing.
In them we will use both the Live Focus and Magic Leap viewers, to combat white walkers with daggers, swords and fire.
It will be available until June 10 and will also arrive in Los Angeles and Dallas at the end of the month.
